Opis:
Ajase Čihaja, muškobanjasta školarka, odrasta u senci svoje sestre, lišena bilo kakvih ličnih interesovanja. A onda upoznaje Aratu, dečaka koji ima svoj san - da postane Velemajstor u kartaškoj igri po imenu karuta. Opčinjena njegovom strašću, Čihaja se zaljubljuje u svet karute i zajedno sa Aratom i Mišimom, drugom iz detinjstva, formiraju tim. Međutim, okolnosti se menjaju i ovo troje prijatelja se razdvajaju, ali sa nadom da će ih karuta nekad kasnije ponovo spojiti. Ova mentalno zahtevna kartaška igra inspirisana je klasničnom japanskom antologijom "Sto pesnika".
